It shouldn't be. You can always book without the seat, right away check how much it is to add it afterwards, and if the price difference is extreme, cancel and refund using the 24-hour cancelation option, then re-book including the seat.



If it's not stuffed, will it fit within a sizer that's at the published limits? If so, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm assuming with the extra space, you'd squish it in there no problem. I doubt they'd take a tape measure to it, especially if at the gate.
Thanks for your helpful replies. I ended up booking today; the 40% off sale was too good to pass up.

Confirmed that seat prices remain the same after booking (though I'm assuming they'll be dynamic as time goes on). I also confirmed that after paying for a seat, I can move to other seats in that same price category, or upgrade to a more expensive seat by paying the difference - just FYI for anyone else considering flying Flair.
