Point of reference: Just booked LAX-BOS-LAX Transcon for *THIS WEEK*, came to ~1300 in J - F was orbiting $3200 or so, right after ticketing it offers me $400 to upgrade outbound to F and $~300 for the return, I'll likely just stick in J. A further point; Y was pricing at ~$850 on the same trip
