Hoping to get some guidance. In the past, I had no problems booking a prepay reservation, and then if the rate dropped, either chatting with an agent for a price adjustment or going into the Edit Reservation function, changing the pickup time by 30 minutes (thus changing it to the new, lower rate), and then saving the changes.

I now have a Pay Later reservation (as points redemption is only allowed on pay later?) in Maui and noticed the rate has significantly dropped. While trying to edit the reservation with the above method, the system no longer takes into account the partial points redemption, and is suggesting a pay later charge for the entire rental period. While I can just cancel this reservation and get all my points back (pres circle), I am afraid there is risk that the location has closed off point redemption. I also do not have enough points to check for myself if I were to start a new reservation.

So my question is, does anyone have experience with a price adjustment for partial points/partial charge type of reservation. If nobody can help me with that, can someone with enough points check Maui OGG May 28-May 31, luxury large sedan, and tell me if the location is still accepting points so I can simply cancel my reservation and rebook?
