I was on AS375 (the same aircraft turning back EWR-SFO). After seeing it delayed for 3 hours before heading to EWR, decided to cancel it and booked a DL JFK-SFO, which is almost on-time.
I was booked on AS270 from SFO > PDX at 7am this morning and our incoming flight was supposed to be yours, AS375. They cancelled it last night around 10pm and I scrambled to rebook on UA for 7pm tonight.
I've taken 60 flights in the past 6 months on AS and this is the first full-fledged cancellation I've had. Now, I'm no mathematician, but based on what I've seen happen with other airlines melting down, I'll put my money on those odds any day of the week.
S**t happens and we move on. I'm still a very loyal and very happy AS customer!
