I was checking a weekend in San Diego next year: three properties that are going for ~$250/night are all 60k (Springhill/Residence/US Grant). Meanwhile, a Courtyard down the street is going for $629 or 40k. Most of the hotels priced over $300 are at 40k, but the cheaper ones are at 60k, regardless of what the brand is. One particular value is the Marriott, 60k for a room selling at $1700 (not sure who is paying $1700 for a standard room at the Marriott). Does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to the pricing at this point, but one thing is certain, nothing at all available for a 35k cert.
