The US Bank can absolutely be a pain to get a card from if you are doing a lot of credit card signups.
Plus that who cares about Radidson properties even before they did that stupid split into Radiddon America and Radisson International, after Chinese firm bought it and did not want to comply with US regulatory for the whole worldwide properties. There are very very few useful properties inside US. Even though in theory you can freely transfer pts between the America and the International, the customer services on both are terrible especially the International side as they strictly only work on European time business hours...
If one is not only wanting to redeem for "aspirational" but more for practical travel needs, many of the new IHG Staybridges and HIXs are very well designed and at very reasonable point costs at expensive locations in Europe. They are the hidden gems not many have noticed.
