My opinion (done this route at least 10 times in past 6 or 7 years):

1. ANA "The Room" is a better seat than JAL Apex Suite in my opinion and experience. However I think JAL has better F&B and service.
2. JAL J -- Sky Suite / Apex Suite. Great hard product. Better leg room (width) that reverse herringbone I find. JAL service is fantastic and F&B is better than ANA. The cabin is hot, so I usually take a pair of gym shorts to sleep in. I like the USB fan idea, also a smart and simple move that could improve experience. I will do this later this year!
3. AA J -- I also like reverse herringbone, but AA service is too inconsistent to risk it. I will say their Asia/Australia J attendants are much better than domestic J/F in my experience.
