It's still less than a year to hit the full marks. If you can do it and also benefit in the short-term for immediate status benefits, that's awesome. If you've missed 3 months worth of flying with Delta and will struggle to hit full marks, it could leave you high and dry in 2023. It really depends on your situation - Certainly a win for some, perhaps a wasted effort for others.
