Thanks all for the replies! Seems overnight, JL added a direct JFK-NRT service for this summer (previously they only had JFK-HND, and the SE Asian destinations with cheap fares all had connections via NRT and I rather not have to do a change of terminal connection), so think I’m just gonna go that way, rather than have go the AA route and have double connect. Hopefully with JL’s amazing crew and food, I’ll be able to survive the rain forest that’s their cabins!
