Cancelling an Avios redemption

I'm pretty sure I recently read you could now cancel an Avios redemption flight yourself, via MMB, rather than needing to call. And by cancelling I mean a proper, true refund of cash, 241 vouchers and Avios (minus £35) to source, rather than for a voucher of some kind.
Using the "old" MMB, I'm told it's a trade or agent booking and cannot be done online, using the newer version it says I can "refund" for a voucher.
Do I remember rightly ? Or do I still need to recall for a true cancel and refund ?
There are two suitably vague statements on the screen that read "If you have an Avios Reward Flight Saver, Reward Flight, Companion or Gold Upgrade Voucher booking, please note that by submitting this form you will be given a refund and your Companion or Gold Upgrade Voucher will revert back to the original expiry date" and "Before submitting this form, you’re confirming that you have the consent of all individuals in your booking to act on their behalf. Please note that for Avios Reward Flight Saver, Reward Flight, Companion or Gold Upgrade Voucher bookings, you are accepting an automatic refund". Refund of what ?
