Just because there isn't an explicit customer-facing written policy for you to consume doesn't mean they aren't doing what is obvious. I can't think of a single airline-branded lounge that will not prioritize their own J customers over 3rd parties if they get to capacity. If a hotel overbooks by one room and the last 2 people to check in are a Diamond member who booked direct and someone who got it through Hotwire, I can tell you right now which one is getting walked, regardless of who checks in first, even though I would be surprised if there is any customer-facing policy stating such.

Throw a sh**fit as much as you want, but pushing to have it in writing not only has zero chance of them giving equal priority to the 2 groups, but also a non-zero chance that the restrictions end up being written in a way that (either directly or based on how a lounge may choose to enforce it) excludes Amex cardholders at specific times rather than when the lounge gets to capacity. That's why people are not complaining: They know there is zero chance a policy would actually improve the access situation but a decent chance it would worsen.
Where am I throwing a "sh**fit"? lol you need to take it down a notch...

I am merely pointing out that the currently policy, as written, entitles Platinum cardholders entry without any obvious restriction. People are leaping to the defense of first class customers without really pointing to anything other than custom. Again, Virgin made the decision to sell off its operations to PPG and the Clubhouses are now a bird of a different feather.
