In my younger years I'd play the game, but as I get older convenience is key.
Definitely no different internal/external rates at the Andaz. It's the same going rate.
Yeah -- prices have definitely jumped. The same daybed I paid $200 for about a year ago is now listed at $400. And in current macro circumstances, I'd honestly still probably pay it -- chalk it up and call it a splurge vs. what we paid to get two consecutive days last year.
And given what we're seeing in the market in hotel and airfare tickets in general -- I think the general sentiment is the same. Revenge Travel -- after the past 2 years -- is real. And no expense is being spared these days.. :/
