I do tend to avoid the bassinet seats wherever possible, when solo travelling, as it's pretty much guaranteed you'll end up with a seatmate in a potentially non-full cabin, and there's always the chance you'll get turfed out before boarding if an infant requires it.
I favour the rear seats these days as not reclining into someone is something I like.
Maybe not on an aircraft with no windows though.
No guarantee of getting a seat pair regardless of where you sit though.
I’m playing the game of theoretical seating. Being in the seat next to to yeh bassinet atm. Swapping over at T-72 and then hopefully my old seat staying blocked. Of course. It’s likely to go horribly wrong but no risk no reward etc.
