Having accumulated some SQ miles specifically for an SQ booking which has twice been cancelled during the pandemic, and with miles expiry looming next year we've been using them on shorthaul partner airline bookings. We used some for Aegean redemptions in from Mykonos via Athens to London Heathrow, with the latter leg in business class - a separate booking each of us as we each had our own SQ miles.

I was expecting to be able to select seats, without charge for the business class leg at least, however after a frustrating conversation Facebook conversation with Aegean I find that's not possible because the booking were ticketed by SQ.

I'm concerned now that we are not going to get seats together, which is a particular issue as my wife is a nervous flyer. Does anyone know in these circumstances weather we will be able to check in online, and select seats at that point or will we just be dumped in random seats?
