Excellent responses so far everyone. It's amazing TK would do that--I'm sure they know how connections work for *their own airline, in their own home airport* ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When people are advocating to "wait it out" and let them contact me, I actually booked through an agency (yeah, yeah, I know better, *now*...). The agency will rebook at no additional cost (because TK changed the flight to an impossible connection), so that's nice.

So unless there will be *more* flights than are available to me through TK in the near future (the only one I can see to switch to now has a 9.5 hr overnight connecting layover), should I pull the trigger and change to it?
