UA691 ORD-DEN Mar30 on B773: Predeparture beverages offered in United First: Water, OJ and “champagne” - was fine but might have been Prosecco. Breakfast was choice of Denver Omelette (nice touch!) or Waffle with compote and fresh fruit side. Plated without cover. Real silverware. The waffle was very soggy and almost inedible. Fruit was the usual cut pineapple, orange, water melon, honeydew and blueberries - all fresh and fine. Inflight service was prompt, friendly and effective.

UA497 DEN-BOI Mar30 on MAX9: Predeparture beverages offered in United First: Water and “sparkling white wine.” The inconsistency in description of the fizzy alcohol beverage is strikingly typical United but again product was just fine.

So it seems that the pandemic service cuts are mostly behind us, at least on those flights today.
