Funny (ok, not so funny) that I almost mentioned some of my UA DC10 flights to/from HNL in the 90s. Footrests not included! When people started complaining when the narrow-bodies started HI service (on every airline), I didn't think they were any more uncomfortable than much of the widebody lift.

All that said, if DL put a lie flat on SFO/HNL, I'd check it out
