Can anyone on here explain how the GE Process works after you have had your interview? I had my interview a couple of weeks ago and have not heard anything one way or the other. I have called the office so many times and have actually spoken to someone 3 times now. I asked about the status and if they perhaps forgot to push the finalize button or something. First I was told that they had to wait for my fingerprints to come back. Then I was told that they were back but the Officer needed to review it. Then I was told that I would have an email that day - but still nothing. I should note that 8 years ago I was arrested on DUI and charges were reduced to reckless driving - which I told them about at my interview. Does anyone know if they are just doing additional research or if it is going to definitely be denied or what? I was told that the only person that could help me is the officer who did my interview and I cannot get him on the phone. I don't want to be a pest in fear that they will just deny me because I am a pain! I do have a trip coming up in less than two weeks and it sure would have been nice to have an answer. Anyone have any thoughts? I sure would appreciate it!
