I had 3 nights booked at a hotel and gotten confirmation of upgrades to their suite (had used the SNA).
Now I wake up, check my account, and the first night has just disappeared. The SNA hasn't been given back. The cancellation screen for this "two-night" stay shows that the 3 SNAs would come back if I cancelled it.
I'm trying to get an understanding of what happened but I've got a lot of other things to do and I'm leaving tomorrow. This is annoyingly stressful. English isn't my first language and sometimes my hearing sucks. I've called Marriott but they were useless (they can't see the history of a reservation?!), and I've called the hotel and they couldn't see anything and I'm now expecting a call back from the manager.
Am I eligible for the ultimate reservation guarantee? Who would I even ask about that, Marriott seemed clueless when I asked about it.
