You don't know me from Adam (whoever he is), but I would implore you to be patient.
I think in this case where someone was rerouted the answer from BA would be of general benefit to others who might encounter the same issue so would encourage the poster to persist; especially as BA are going to do a lot more cancellations and changes over the next few weeks which might affect codeshares and holiday routings where people had genuine expectations they would get double tier points.
