No. BA don’t allow families to combine the allowance.

We flew in Economy in Feb with a child and three cases. One 16kg, 17kg and 26kg (we couldn’t divide it out due to the size of the items in the case).

BA charged us £60 overweight bag fee.

Meanwhile on our outbound with Ryanair it was no issue as combined allowance is allowed…
