Well some of the *A partners such as Air NZ does not give status or normal miles with their lowest fare classes domestically. But with a all cattle class planes and QF giving .5 status miles and miles on QF, AA,etc. guess who got my business the last few months when I am paying in NZ and to Australia When the client was paying, it is still NZ/AC/UA since they get discounts for NZ and NZ coded flights..
