Looking at DL filed fares, it seems they use this dual RBD approach for DPS in some markets but not others. So for example on ATL-TYO it looks like the lowest DPS fare, booking into G, is
ULX90PQT at 1191 each way, which seems to be cloned off ULX90PBD in BE at 1041 (and similarly 1091 in MC and 1141 in C+). On the other hand, on ATL-AMS it looks like all are filed with G, A, or P in the basis, starting with GLDX46P2 at 384 each way.
Similarly, it looks like front cabins (domestic F and D1) may be filed either way. It’s only C+ that is really always a sellup from an MC basis (aside from the occasional oddity like a W/W0/W9 reference fare).
