I bought points more than 72 hours ago.

Hilton had no trouble charging my card. They did that instantaneously.

I still haven't gotten the points. I've messaged them through Twitter and gotten responses that purchased points take uo to 72 hours to post.

Is this a new thing? And if so, are they deliberately delaying delivery of points so that people have to buy points speculatively and can't buy and book under a 100% bonus whenever the points v. cash rate favors that?

I bought the points for a specific redemption that is of course no longer available. Do you think they'd give me the money back if I no longer want the points?
