Sydney transit domestic to international

At this time the Qantas transfer bus was running from domestic to international, but with low frequency and limited hours. (No Qantas transfer bus at all in the opposite direction.) No need to stop by the transfer desk as I already had my onward boarding pass. There was nearly a full bus when I arrived so I expected us to head around the airport straight away. But we didn't. They were waiting for all the other passengers with the same connection I was making. So it wasn't until 15 or 20 minutes later we left. Boarding for our onward flight was already underway by then.

By this stage I wasn't worried about misconnecting. It was clear Qantas was holding the flight for us, even though the flight was showing as being on time on various apps and websites.

Once at international we found the escalator wasn't working so up the stairs lugging my carry-ons. A brief amount of unexpected exercise.
