I'm assuming this is what will happen post merger. I checked the customer service notice board it only mentioned "new program to be made" in 2019 and in 2021 February it would be delayed to 23 but never announced "this is what revamp looks like". I'm assuming this is the fate for in terms of earning and it won't be like Asiana in anyway other than naming of the tiers.

I'm leaving the boat (or have already left it because my DL status match approval) because what I loved about OZ was that you didn't have a min amount to fly with airline to climb the ranks. I've been flying BR and AC to get me to Diamond and haven't touched OZ since '06. With the min. requirement to fly with KE in a year, I have moved to DL for their status match program since DL has no quota for flying with them and of course they are the same alliance with KE.
