In general, when I receive the acknowledgement email regarding loyalty points within a few minutes of shopping, things go as planned. When I don’t, it never comes. I’m not able to open cases though yet, as the support site won’t take requests inside of 15-days.
The email is the 2nd step, when the miles show up as pending. That's usually not instantaneous -- it depends on the merchant.
The first step is for the purchase to show up in your recent visits. Even that can be a batch job that runs once day (again, depending on the merchant)
