Yes, still the case. Use other miles if you want to book AA Flagship transcon F. Assuming you can find it. Last few looks I made on AA had it at 95k o/w, no Saver. LOL thanks but no thanks.
And for those who haven't flown F on those birds, and want to, as an "aspirational" award, you might find it to be one of the most colossal wastes of miles you've ever spent (as compared to the AA J product on the same route).
