I went to change it to two on a number of existing reservations, you can not do it. You must cancel and re-book. Great, but now it would be at a higher rate, and some of the rooms and rates are not even an option! So I called the Diamond desk, and the only way to change it is to cancel the reservation, or they need to call each property to see if they will change it to two and keep the old rate. I guess now I need to be sure to change the default adults to two on future reservations. THis is crazy! You can add a person to the reservation, but it does not change the number of adults.
Most of my stays are at HGI, and with the Food and beverage credit instead of just a free cooked to order breakfast, now you add this, I am seriously looking at other chain options. Hilton, you are losing my loyalty.
