i have a quick question about Malta check in lounge access - I am travelling later today from MLA-LHR in CE, gold card holder and do not have any bags to check in.
will I need to go to the check in desk to pick up printed boarding passes (I have checked in online so have BP on my phone) and/or a lounge invite? (I can’t remember where it was but somewhere in Europe I needed an invite for access!)

I flew back from MLA yesterday (Friday 25th) and I was only travelling HBO.
I checked in online, and arrived at the airport well before the BA check in desk opened. I went straight to departures and got through security with no issues.
The lounge there (La Vallette??) was fine with hot food, sandwiches and self pour spirits and wines including Prosecco with a nice external viewing area. Just show your boarding pass to the girl at the entrance and she will make a note of your BAEC number. The lounge is located at the end of the Duty Free area on the left and you need to get the lift to the lounge.
Boarding was quick and the flight departed and arrived into LHR on time....my connection to NCL however........!
