Hi all, hoping someone can help. Been trying trying Qantas on the phone everyday, different times, for clarification and NADA!

Looking to get a classic reward flight with points from Rome to Sydney. I've read the Refund rules on Qantas's site and it says points and $ spent can be refunded if flight is voluntarily cancelled up to 24 hrs before the flight. BUT I've read elsewhere that a cancellation cannot be refunded IF the flight in question departs from an overseas port.

In the absence of Qantas being available to help, anyone out there that may know or is able to clarify? Thanks in advance!
