How to submit a baggage claim if BA.com doesn't recognize my check-in airport
I've just traveled from SJP (in rural Brazil) to CPT, on a BA-issued ticket, with LATAM operating the domestic Brazilian sector, and BA operating the rest. My bags, however, arrived about 30 hours later, and, following the advice of the BA baggage service, I tried submitting my claim for essentials (toiletries & a change of clothes) via the BA.com form for this purpose: https://www.britishairways.com/en-gb/information/help-and-contacts/complaints-and-claims.
Problem is: I'm blocked from completing the claim form, because BA.com doesn't seem to recognize the 3-letter code for the airport where I checked-in the bag. It's quite maddening.
What to do now?
