It did seem to help with European flight connections in a couple of cities that I was keeping an eye on though. Some win, some lose.
I also am a big fan of Finnair daytime flights from Asia to Europe because the service is a bit better, despite with a 9pm departure, you can't go to a supper, instead of full dinner, service now especially the flights are much longer now. Anyway as an AvGeek I like day flights better. Connecting to Madrid/Barcelona/Lisbon will also result in a long connection time too, as they tend to schedule around the late afternoon to fit the arrival banks from Asia in the early afternoon. Some major cities like London, Paris, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Berlin, Amsterdam and Brussels will be fine, but some secondary cities will be affected now.
