How is the space for oddly-shaped items? Mrs. JHunter has a musical instrument case that is a tube roughly 8" in diameter (no problem there) but 28" long, several inches beyond the length limit although the dimensional totals are within spec. Due to the contents, we are extremely hesitant to check it. I was assuming that in F, you get additional leeway, but could anyone confirm/deny?

Note: we're connecting through LHR. Should we anticipate any issues with the BAA, due to their even stricter limits, even if BA doesn't have a problem?
