Appreciate any insight.
Welcome to FlyerTalk!
If you will be ticketed in an F booking code, you will earn 300% of flown miles if you credit to AA; if in an A booking code, 250%. In addition, because of your AAdvantage Platinum status, you would earn a 60% bonus of the flown miles, to boot.
Both AAdvantage and Alaska MVP have plusses and minuses. What are your intended redemptions? From where? To where? And in what class of service?
