I doubt it I have returned a $19,000 item before with no problems (yes not for points with GCs). Remember that items of this value usually have to be ordered so it’s understandable you may change your mind once you see it. As long as your returns fall within their parameters there will never be a repercussion. I would assume if you kept doing it over and over again it would become a problem. But even then I’m not sure if you went to different stores. I believe the only way that it would become a problem is if it was initiated the store level by management by realizing what you’re doing. I’ve seen people take back stuff that they’ve had for years that they didn’t take very good care of and. by saying they were no longer happy with it and Costco was happy to make the return the item. As I said as long as it follows Costco’s return policy what’s the problem. That said Costco should only be used in a emergency situations like I was in.
