Not that unusual to get gate assigned seat for BE pax. More coach seats will likely open when they upgrade DL Medallions to C+ at gate (since C+ is a separate class on DL, upgrades are inventory controlled). You are confirmed on flight, so you will be ahead of any passengers on standby list for getting a seat who are not confirmed and chances of getting bumped are pretty low.
