TB can have funding from multiple sources, not just purchased credits. And those different types of funds have different expiration policies. And the verbiage clearly states the specific fund type T&Cs prevails over the generic rule.
The purchased TB funds are clearly 5-year expiration per their T&Cs. And as you report what the web site states for your purchases.
Other fund types, such as promos, are a few months expiration, some longer. The default if nothing is stated is 18 months. But it also states the specific T&Cs override the 18 month rule.
Perhaps reading the wiki which goes thru the various types of funds expiration would help.
