You will also see expiration dates in your UA TB account

The are multiple TB expiration terms depending on the source of the funds -- see the wiki for others.
Thanks,--I do see 5 year expiration in my TB, however, the T&C state,:"
  1. As a general rule (and unless stated otherwise by United under the terms of a particular offer or the terms of certain qualifying activity as determined by United from time to time) all accrued TravelBank Cash in an Account is subject to expiration and/or forfeiture for any Member who fails at any time to engage in Account Activity (as defined above) for a period of eighteen (18) consecutive months. United may, but shall have no obligation to, send a Member a notification of TravelBank Cash nearing or subject to expiration."

I have not had 18 months of activity in my TB so does that mean my TB fund I deposited in 10/20 will expire on 4/22? (18 mos)? it's so unclear and lots of conflicting information out there.
Someone suggested booking a fully refundable ticket for $400 (my TB amount), then cancel the ticket and that will redposit into the TB, thus "resetting" the clock?
