We were issued one of those in HI a few years ago and I don't remember what hotel type it was limited, but we had an upcoming stay at a Doubletree near Boston that I wanted to use it for and had the HGV rep have it reissued for that brand hotel. I think it's easy to assume that the use of Hilton on the certificates would not be so limited.
