The yellow buses are among the inter-city buses to which I was referring as having seat-belts in my earlier post. The inter-city buses don’t account for a majority of the public transit service buses IIRC. If most accidents in Sweden happen like they do in the US, the vast majority of road accidents take place during local travel rather than during longer-distance travel. Even within Skane cities the speeds of the green buses can be 60-80 km/h in parts. No seat belts still. Where there are seat-belts — the yellow Skanetrafiken buses — enforcement is typically lax when it comes to seat-belt use. Perhaps it’s sort of like with SAS mask enforcement nowadays: more relaxed than it should be on-board.
