Keeping things simple means having one rule systemwide and has benefits on its own. But SAS is already a complicated mess on this front.

And some other people decide to ignore that people ignore the seat belts on busses but decide to enforce the masks. Why the one thing and not the other?
Most public buses in Sweden don’t have passenger seat belts IIRC. Inter-city buses do, but IIRC they are still a minority of the public buses in the country.
You may be surprised to know that I’ve actually been to Osby by bus too, although the trains are more my thing. They don’t have many public buses there.
