Helped my brother book TK flight from ATH to YVR today. Booked online on my computer. After booking clicked on his name to edit to enter passport and it showed his birthday off by one day.

Proceeded to call Turkish. Agent #1 said he could do nothing about it and fill out a Feedback form and they’d get back to me in about 7 days. He wasn’t super pleasant.

Figured I’d try again. Agent #2 was nicer. Gave him ticket number and he looked it up. Sounded like he looked in two places in their system and said it showed the correct birthday and won’t be a problem.

I then proceeded to look on the app and when I went to edit the passenger it showed the correct birthdate there.

I know I’m probably being a bit paranoid but wanted to run this by you all and see if this is something that’s happened before? I would feel awful if he was stuck in ATH and denied boarding or had to purchase another ticket there.
