Actually, I'd be concerned even with 2 hours given AC's on time performance as well as delays at the airport.

AC didn't do something like change the date of your YYZ-DTW flight to give you a 25:10 connection, did they?

Following up on this now that my trip is complete. Flights never changed again, no rebooking options presented themselves, and AC never nagged me about changing so I rolled the dice and left it alone. I was not able to check in for the flight online, but I think that had more to do with COVID documentation - think it needed manual approval for my CDC handwritten vaccination card. No issues checking in at the airport and I was given the DTW boarding pass in DUB.

The inbound from YYZ ended up being late (mechanical) causing my return to be 90 minutes late and I did miss the connection. The computer automatically rebooked me on the next day's DTW flight while I was still over the Atlantic. I stopped at the AC customer service desk at the entry to the F gates to check for options. The only possibility was a late connection through IAD so I declined. After about 20 minutes of phone calls and lots of typing they gave me a voucher for the Alt Hotel and $30 in food vouchers. This was likely the best outcome as AC covered the hotel but I would have had to if I changed the flight ahead of time. Definitely better than bouncing around the east coast to get home very late the same day. No issues getting home the next day.
