Forgive me if this is covered elsewhere. First time poster, long time lurker.

I'm traveling with family on the 787-8 and will likely have the Zodiac seat (to SCL) and am wondering where to put my parents. Currently they are in forward facing seats in the middle, but am thinking of moving one to L and keeping the other in H. The seat map indicates 2L as backwards facing and 2H as forward facing. Would it be reasonable to assume that they could see each other? I think they would prefer to glance at each other instead of strangers. I've always been lucky and gotten the Super Diamond seats, so have yet to experience the Zodiac coffins. Are some planes set up with different forward/backward arrangements (e.g. 1, 3, 5 middle forwards on plane 1 and 1, 3, 5 middle backwards on plane 2)?

I assume the degree to which you stare at your neighbor isn't as bad as BA in J (pre-clubworld), but if anybody has any insights, I would be most appreciative.
