Per the OP, seems like UA has absolutely no record of anything on 3/16, only starting on the 17th when they called UA. Just wondering if this was some sort of phishing scam to gain access to the OP's account and/or PNR and they never actually were speaking with United on the 16th.

I called into the 1-800-864-8331 number on the 16th. I was on hold for about 2 hours and then spoke with someone. In addition to the email confirmation to Polaris Business class, I confirmed the update in my account at united.com.
