First of all they will use up as many certificates as you have per adult/child in the booking. So if you have 2 passengers + infant you will need 2 certificates to be available. Then they will simply deduct 50k per passenger. That's it. Can't do any booking for 3 passengers if you only have 2 certificates and can't tell the system to only use 1 certificates for a booking of 2 adults. You will need to book separately if you want to use only 1 certificates for 1 adult.
So the individual award cost needs to be 50k+ to maximize the certificates....
