I was impressed at how Hawiaan village resort handled it. Was told at check in I had five $36 credits and the the first credit could be used either that night or day of check out and the other four had to be used each full day I was there. I used the credits a couple days at two different venues and posted fine and received a folio with all the food charges and a second one showing the amount due after the credit for the two days I went over on it. No having to call the hotel or diamond desk.

Good friend of mine is at a HGI in Lousianna and isn't having good luck. He is there for work with his husband. They told him it could only be used for breakfast and he has breakfast with his client so his husband went down to use it and was told that only one of the credits could be used and he couldn't combine them. They ran into a similar issue at another HGI. There was also a similar complaint on the Facebook group at an HGI where he was told it was good only on bre3akfast and didn't want to eat breakfast and his wife was told they could only use one of the credits. Seems like HGI needs to get their act together.
