Trouble claiming credit for a LATAM flight
Hey there!
I had a LATAM flight from MAD to SCL in January on a LATAM ticket. I could add my Skymiles number to the booking and number & status are shown on the boarding pass. Unfortunately no credit came at all for this flight / the flight didn't show up in recent acitivity.
Tried to claim twice at the Skymiles section at the website at "request mileage credit" section adding boarding pass and providing ticket details. Remark: LATAM is not listed in the airline partner dropdown menu.
As I am living outside the US I used the "message us" chat in the Delta app:
- first time my request was handed over to a Skymiles specialist and I was told the credit will be done in 3-4 weeks. Of course this did not happen.
- after five weeks I contacted them again and my case was escalated to loyalty department. Answer was that they can't go on with ticket number and boarding pass but need a ticket receipt of LATAM which I should provide. I tried to get the receipt from LATAM in the manage my booking section & requesting it from customer service but no success.
Can someone with similar experience give me a suggestion who I will be able to claim the miles from DL successfully?
