Apologies for driving the thread OT, so as an attempt to steer it back it where it belongs here's a quick one from today. Flew BA561 LIN-LHR and, though we arrived some 20 min early, we ended up pulling on stand just a smidge late due to the stand being unavailable and the IRS/dispatcher being late in attaching the jetty to one plane that was in the way. Nice walk from T5B and we got to a very packed immigration hall. The line for the egates was very long but then got moving quickly as more machine went online. First time I saw all of them operating!

As always, though, the non e-Gates crowd had the short end of the stick. The line barely moved at all.
